FUN FIESTA PARADE "PARADA NG BAYAN" Loud Festive Music by the Philippine Heritage Band signals the opening of the festival. The participants (community groups, business reps and the public) will follow the marching band as they march along the boardwalk by the lake. FUN CULTURAL DANCE “SAYAW NG KULTURANG PILIPINO” A fabulous group of New Yorkers will perform in their finest form the “Jota Cavitena”. The "jota" being among the most popular of the Spanish dances which were "Filipinized" by the people in many places across Luzon and the Visayas. This version uses unstrung elongated bamboo clickers instead of the Spanish wooden castañuelas.

From the Cordillera's traditional steps to the lively rural rhythms of the south and the exotic allure of Mindanao, their performance promises a vibrant showcase. Accompanied by the enchanting melodies of 10-pc rondalla (native string ensemble), it's a celebration of Philippine heritage in motion.

ATI-ATIHAN PARADE ON THE BOARDWALK Celebrate the Ati-Atihan parade with the United Aklanon Association of Toronto as they bring traditional tribal dancers and a lively drum corps to our FUN festival. Known for their vibrant representation of the Aklan festival, UAAT’s performance features rhythmic drumbeats, lively brass bands, and traditional chants, creating an energetic atmosphere of culture and faith.

OPM: CELEBRATING 50 YEARS OF ORIGINAL PILIPINO MUSIC In 1974, the same year Harbourfront Centre opened, the Philippine music scene was transformed by the release of Hotdog’s "Ikaw ang Miss Universe ng Buhay Ko." This hit song was the catalyst for the Original Pilipino Music (OPM) movement, a genre that would come to define Filipino popular music. Join us for a special segment where we relive those classic OPM hits with performances by Alyssa Datu, Joy Tejada, Maria Teresa Panaligan, Pabs Quiogue, Rhett Dela Cruz, Zcharms Hipona and with a special participation of Mon Torralba, an original member of the Hotdog Band, who composed the timeless mega hit called “Pers Lab” (Tagihawat sa Ilong)

TFC30 HAPPY HOUR FEATURING BGYO BGYO is a five-member Filipino boy band formed in 2018 by ABS-CBN's Star Hunt Academy, consisting of Gelo, Akira, JL, Mikki, and Nate. Dubbed the "Aces of P-pop". The group's name is an acronym for "Becoming the change, Going further, You and I, Originally Filipino".
